Robert Reynolds is the Sentry, a Marvel Comics superhero whose first appearance was in Sentry #1 (2000). He gained his immense powers from a special version of the Super-Soldier Serum. This formula gave him the power of a million exploding suns.
However, Reynolds also suffers from severe mental health issues, particularly Dissociative Identity Disorder. His other personality, the Void, is a destructive entity intrinsically linked to the Sentry's power. The Void emerges whenever the Sentry uses his powers, ensuring the balance between good and evil.
Because of the danger the Void posed, Reynolds was manipulated to forget his past as the Sentry to protect the world. He later regained his memories and powers, becoming an important, albeit unstable, member of the Marvel Universe.
